John Melia, the Principal of the firm, has more than two decades experience as a lawyer, and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria. Previously an Associate at Mills Oakley Lawyers, John has worked in general practice in both corporate and small legal firms.
John launched Melia Lawyers in 2009 to provide personalized, one-on-one service, which you don’t get from larger firms. He takes great pride in being able to assist his clients in a range of legal matters.
Outside of work, John is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending leisure time with his family and friends.
MICHELLE MELIA - Administration Manager
Michelle Melia has been the administration manager of Melia Lawyers since 2009.
She has a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) and taught in Melbourne for many years, before retiring from teaching to join the firm.
Michelle and John are happily married and enjoy a great family life with their kids.
